it made purchasing a monitor feel punishing, as 1080p stream on 1440p monitor is hardly enjoyable. Minor inconvenience if my main game wasn't affected by this but it is, and I don't know whether Nvidia is going to do anything about it.įew days after that I've started getting assigned 2080d instead of 3080h throughout evening hours, and that means the stream would be downgraded to 1080p/60fps and performance to be downgraded substantially.
I even purchased 1440p/144hz monitor to see full potential of the 3080 tier.įew days later I discovered that some games will not stream 120fps, some will not despite showing 120fps+ in Steam overlay, others are "vsync" capped to virtual display of 60hz they have set on VM.
